# Working with Views

### Overview

Views define how data is displayed and reviewed. Views support repeatable reviews without rebuilding filters and columns.

### Key Concepts

* **View type**: List, Board, or Gantt
* **Save View**: stored view configuration for repeatable lists
* **Visibility**: private vs shared (availability varies)

### How It’s Used

Use List for dense editing and review. Use Board for workflow reviews. Use Gantt for timelines and sequencing.

### Benefits

* Faster daily review through consistent layouts
* Cleaner reporting through standardized filters and columns
* Reduced errors from inconsistent manual filtering

### Setup Steps

Start with List views. Add Board and Gantt after List patterns are stable.

### Best Practices

* Standardize shared views with predictable naming.
* Limit the number of shared views per Project.
* Use dedicated export views for downloads.
