Activity Tracking

Use history and audit-style signals to understand what changed.

Overview

Activity tracking provides a timestamped record of change.

It supports audits, handoffs, and governance reviews.

Key Concepts

  • Activity feed: chronological list of changes and comments

  • History: field-level change log (when enabled)

  • Auditability: ability to reconstruct what changed and why

How It’s Used

Use activity feeds during weekly reviews to confirm progress.

Use history during investigations to validate status, owner, and scope changes.

Benefits

  • Faster “what changed?” answers

  • Stronger accountability for approvals and scope

  • Cleaner handoffs across delivery teams

Setup Steps

  1. Open an item detail panel.

  2. Locate Activity, History, or Audit trail.

  3. Filter by event type or time window when available.

Best Practices

  • Record decision rationale in comments alongside status changes.

  • Keep statuses consistent to reduce ambiguous history.

  • Use Save Views for blocked and overdue work so activity review is repeatable.
